About Us
Novum Solutions helps asset-intensive organisations unlock the full value of their asset and sensor data — from the point it is measured through to the decisions it should inform.
We specialise in asset health and condition monitoring for complex operational environments, working across heavy industry, power generation, and manufacturing. Our work spans the full sensor-to-strategy journey: enabling reliable data capture, integrating disparate systems, and translating condition insight into maintenance and operational decisions that actually change outcomes.
In practice, this means helping asset-intensive organisations mature condition monitoring and asset health frameworks and infrastructure across production, utilities, and supporting systems. We focus on removing the friction between data, tools, and people so asset health data becomes embedded in day-to-day operations and maintenance.
We sit at the intersection of engineering domain expertise, operations, and strategy. That position allows us to align asset health information with risk, performance, and value, ensuring maintenance effort is directed where it matters most.
Industry Experience
Power Generation
One of the world’s largest mining companies operates its own power generation network in the Pilbara, Western Australia. Novum Solutions was engaged to uplift the asset health program and maintenance approach for a fleet of gas turbine generators and associated balance-of-plant assets, aligning them with industry best practice.
Novum planned, managed, and delivered this transition end-to-end, helping the team move from reactive maintenance toward a structured, proactive asset health program that supported more informed decision-making and long-term asset strategy.
Oil and Gas
Novum Solutions has supported oil and gas operators across a wide range of operating contexts — from local producers in Australia’s North-West Shelf to multinational assets operating offshore Africa.
Working across asset classes from high-criticality production equipment through to balance-of-plant, Novum brings a practical understanding of the full asset health landscape. This experience underpins a strong focus on predictive and proactive maintenance, enabling safer, more reliable operations in remote and increasingly challenging environments.
Mining
Novum oversaw a global mining organisation’s asset health program, providing guidance and consultation across 17 mines and ports to optimise asset health systems and data for critical maintenance and operational decisions.
Change was driven at an institutional level, embedding best practice into organisational Standards and establishing a scalable operating and training framework to support consistent, high-quality asset health outcomes across sites.
